Qualifications And Job Description
We are looking for a Mine Shift Engineer for our globally established and rapidly growing gold mining & material company, Anagold Madencilik.

Main Qualifications
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Mining Engineering
- Having at least 1 year of experience, preferably in open pit gold mine operation,
- Able to use AutoCAD software,
- Knowledge of mine engineering requirements
- Ability to work in shifts,
- Technical supervisor certificate for mining engineers preferably,
- Assume responsibility for personal and team initiative
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Self-confident and responsible
- Good at English both written and spoken (Upper-Intermediate)
- B Class Valid driving license (older than 3 years)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all mining activities to ensure the mining contractor is following the plans developed by Anagold Engineering.
- Planning the daily production levels for the mine and ensuring that all equipment and supplies required by workers are available when needed.
- Training and developing orientation programs to appropriately train new and existing workers on the use of various equipment within the mine.
- Scheduling work shifts and briefing workers as needed on changes in policies and production.
- Ensuring all safety measures, guidelines and regulations are being accurately followed and reporting any concerns to the appropriate managers or regulatory groups.
- Supporting and tracking the production of the mine from the processing of raw materials through to the development of the mined product.
- Working with individual employees to handle problems, issues, and work-related questions to ensure that employees are able to work in physically safe environments without additional stress.
- Oversee haul road, waste rock and ore stockpile construction and maintenance, Verify stockpile inventories
- Obtain equipment utilization and availability records from contactor.
- Liaison with mining contractor to ensure safe and efficient mining operations
- Prepare and distribute shift reports.
- Provide assistance to other departments as requested
- Perform other duties as required
- Perform training to subordinates as necessary
- Assess abilities and performance of subordinates
- Ensure all mined material is shipped to the proper destination
- Verify mining contractors daily mining records
- Provide Quality Assurance for blasting operations
- Monitor construction of waste rock and ore stockpiles
Other Responsibilities
- Manage pit inventories relative to the mine plan
- Verify stockpile inventories
- Monitor haul road construction and maintenance
- Liaise with Surveyor to ensure the mine plan is strictly followed
- Ensure pit boundaries, and mining control delineations are properly in place and clearly marked
- Liaise with Mining Contractor to ensure drilling patterns are properly laid out, clearly identified, and sufficient for continued work schedules
- Liaise with Ore Control technicians to ensure all ore blocks are clearly and correctly identified
- To supervise shift engineers in “chief mine operations’” absence
- To supervise blasting activities in drill-blast engineer absence
